2013 "New Energy New Electric" National Graduate Academic Forum held

Recently, 2013 "New Energy · New Electric" National Graduate Academic Forum held in the electrician . Electrician Gu Guobiao academicians, North China Electric Power University Professor Han Minxiao, China Agricultural University Professor Ye Lin 12 experts and more than 100 students from Beijing and outside together to the forum.

The forum discussed the development of electrical engineering disciplines and new-type power grids, focusing on the development of electrical engineering disciplines, the study of DC network topology and control, and the study on wind power portfolio short-term wind power forecasting models.

Subsequently, 28 postgraduates at the three sub-forums of power electronics and high voltage technology, electrotechnical theory and new technology, power system and renewable energy power generation technology reported their research results to attendees and listened attentively to the opinions and suggestions of the judges. The brilliant academic report of the graduate students, the experts' comments made the present students benefit greatly.

Huo Xianxu from the Electrical Engineering Institute and Wang Qiming from South China University of Technology won the first, second and third prizes and the "best papers" award from 12 students. This forum provides graduate students in electrical engineering with an academic and humanistic platform to broaden their horizons.
