What is an electric lock?

Usually the electric plug consists of two main parts: the lock body and the lock hole. The key component in the lock body is the “lock tongue”, which cooperates with the “lock hole” to realize the two states of “close the door” and “open the door”. That is, the locking tongue is inserted into the locking hole to close the door, and the locking tongue is separated from the locking hole to open the door. Because of the retractable function of the bolt, it was named the "electric plug".

What are the classification of electric plug locks?

There are two types of electric plug locks: power-on unlocking and power-off unlocking. That is, the state when the former is energized is the state in which the lock tongue is inside, and the latter is reversed. The current lock also has two cores, five cores and eight cores.

The electric mortise lock is also called "anode lock", which is an electric lock that opens the door when the power is off. From the wire is divided into two-wire electric plug lock, four-wire electric plug lock, five-wire electric plug lock, eight-wire electric plug lock.

Working principle of electric plug lock

Two-wire electric plug lock principle: The design of the two-wire electric lock is relatively simple. There are two wires, red and black, and red is connected to the power supply +12VDC black to GND. When any line is disconnected, the lock will automatically retract and there is no microcontroller control circuit.

The principle of four-wire electric plug: there are two wires, red and black, and red is connected to the power supply +12VDC black to GND. There are also two white lines, which are the magnetic signal lines of the door, reflecting the opening and closing states of the door.

The principle of five-wire electric plug lock: The principle of the four-wire electric plug lock is the same, but the opposite signal of a pair of door magnets is added.

The principle of eight-wire electric plug lock: the same as the 5-wire electric plug lock. In addition to the gate state output, the lock state output is also added.
